I hope you're good and have had a great summer?

We have had a little break from classes and have been focusing on our 1-2-1 training in our calmer canine program.

Away from the scenes I have been studying more and more about reactivity.

Not just how to work around the behaviour but the science.

Yesterday I was told that I had successfully completed the first level of a reactivity course I have enrolled on with the dog training school.

What does this mean?

I have further developed my understanding of why reactivity can occur in dogs.

A deeper appreciation of the science and compassion to go into behaviour analysis.

Taking this further I will be studying the next level why do I do this?

Reactivity and reducing this behaviour is a passion of mine and I love being able to support clients in a positive and ethical way and that is why this training has been so important as it follows and underpins my beliefs and further shows my commitment towards ensuring owners of reactive dogs have the knowledge, skills and understanding to work through their reactive dogs behaviour using force free, fun and supportive techniques.
